SkyGrid, a Boeing SparkCognition Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of autonomous aircraft. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services.

The SkyGrid team is looking for a Content Creator to produce compelling, brand aligned copy for various marketing channels that communicate SkyGrid’s message to its audience effectively. The Content Creator at SkyGrid is responsible for producing innovative and engaging content that communicates the company’s role in advancing autonomous flight, focusing on high-assurance third-party services (TPS) and Provider of Services for Urban Air Mobility (PSU).

Performance Objectives

  • Develop a consistent content calendar aligned with marketing goals.
  • Establish a consistent brand voice in all written materials.
  • Achieve a 20% increase in social media engagement (likes, shares, comments) and a 15% increase in website traffic attributed to content initiatives.
  • Produce and publish at least 20 pieces of original content, including articles, blog posts, and social media updates.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of SkyGrid’s services, including TPS and PSU, and reflect this understanding in content creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling copy for various marketing channels, including digital advertisements, social media, website content, and press releases, tailored to diverse audiences within the autonomous flight sector.
  • Translate technical information regarding TPS and PSU into clear, persuasive narratives that articulate the benefits of SkyGrid’s services.
  • Engage in meticulous research to ensure all content is accurate, compliant with industry standards, and reflects the latest in UAM innovation.
  • Review and edit existing marketing materials for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness, implementing SkyGrid’s feedback loop for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of SkyGrid’s overall content strategy, including identifying new opportunities for content creation that will drive engagement and position SkyGrid as a thought leader in the advanced air mobility industry.
  • Develop original content across multiple platforms, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and video scripts that effectively communicate SkyGrid’s initiatives in TPS and PSU.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to produce engaging content that aligns with product launches, feature updates, and company announcements.
  • Utilize storytelling to highlight the benefits and features of SkyGrid’s services, emphasizing how they contribute to the advancement of autonomous flight.
  • Analyze performance metrics to gauge content effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve content strategies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in UAM, TPS, and related regulatory changes to ensure content is current and thought leadership is informed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in creating compelling multimedia content including text, image, and video.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, content marketing, and social media strategy.
  • Excellent storytelling abilities to translate complex technical information into engaging content.
  • Ability to analyze and present content performance data.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, image and video editing software, and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear and persuasive copy.
  • Understanding of branding and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to write optimized content for the web.
  • Strong research skills to ensure content is accurate and up to date with industry standards
