The Club’s brands include men’s and women’s professional teams – the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park. The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

HDFC is seeking a Sr. Video Producer to join its production team. The ideal candidate will be creative and self-motivated, and will possess experience in all aspects of video production. This position will work alongside the marketing and creative teams to create on brand content that delivers HDFC to the world.

Duties And Responsibilities

Video Production

 

  • Produce and edit a full range of video projects including content for internal digital channels, broadcast and partnership fulfillment.
  • Attend HDFC matches, training sessions, press conferences and other events as needed to capture footage.
  • Collaborate with the creative team with the ideation and planning of content productions.
  • Assists the coordination of video shoot logistics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 4 years of relative experience in video production or content creation
  • Digital portfolio demonstrating video experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Attributes

 

  • Passion for the sport of soccer
  • Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Strong video editing and motion graphics techniques to create high-end, visually innovative video pieces.
  • Experience with pre-production, equipment, coordinating, lighting, shooting, and editing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere and After Effects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cinema and DSLR cameras, specifically the Sony platform.
  • Ability to meet handle multiple projects, tasks and prioritize those to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work unconventional hours, including travel.
  • Maintains Organizational Core Competencies.
