In this role, you’ll be the voice of Fjällräven on social, crafting content that ignites wanderlust and fosters a connection with our fellow nature enthusiasts.
What You Will Do
Here’s a glimpse of the trail for our Social Media Manager:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that inspires user to walk with nature through our brand
- Create captivating content calendars that resonate with local and global audiences.
- Spark meaningful conversations with followers and build a thriving Fjällräven community through day-to-day social channel engagement.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless storytelling across all platforms.
- With tools like Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, and native channels, analyze data and translate insights into actions that optimize our social media presence.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers who share our passion for the outdoors.
- Guide our Fjällräven brand ambassadors to create captivating content that aligns with our brand mission.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to amplify social impact initiatives and brand moments.
- Support other marketing initiatives that have social impact, such as PR or community events, store openings, and other major brand moments.
Who You Are
The ideal Social Media Manager for Fjällräven will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in social media management, ideally within the outdoor or lifestyle industry.
- Proven track record of managing large social media accounts and driving engagement.
- Proficiency in social media tools like Dash Hudson and Flowbox.
- A keen eye for detail and a talent for crafting compelling narratives.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with paid social advertising
- Experience in creative content development and production

The anticipated salary for this role is $70,000-80,000 annually.
