Position: Junior Website & Content Creator (W2)
Job Description: We are seeking the addition of a creative, insightful Junior Website & Content creator to join our energetic team. This entry level role will report directly to the COO. The responsibilities encompass website creation, marketing content creative and regular maintenance of social media presence. The ideal candidate is autonomous, is comfortable working with aggressive deadlines, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, along with a customer first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Creation Tasks:
· Design and Develop Website(s):
o Create visually appealing and user-friendly website(s) that align with our brand identity and business goals.
· Content Management:
o Manage and update website content to ensure it stays fresh, relevant, and engaging.
· SEO Optimization:
o Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
· User Experience (UX):
o Enhance user experience by optimizing site navigation, layout, and functionality.
Marketing Administration Tasks:
· Coordinate Marketing Campaigns:
o Collaborate with COO and team to plan and execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
· Manage Marketing Databases:
o Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems and track marketing data.
· Analyze Market Trends:
o Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
· Content Creation:
o Write and edit marketing materials, including social media posts and website content.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, website design & development, interactive design or visual communication
· 1-3 years of experience in related roles
· Proficiency in both front end and back-end web development; Full stack development experience an asset
· Well versed in social media business platforms (LinkedIn, X)
· Excellent time management skills & able to work with tight deadlines
· Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills
· Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Can provide samples of development projects and marketing creative for reference
