Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator with expertise in photography and videography to develop engaging visual content for our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality photos and videos that align with our brand’s aesthetic and mission.

 

Location: 

Miami, Florida. This is an in-person opportunity with the option to work from home on editing days. The hybrid model will typically follow a 3-day in-person and 2-day work-from-home structure. The in-person location is in Brickell/Downtown unless shooting is taking place elsewhere.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute photo and video shoots for social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for visual content
  • Capture high-quality images and videos using professional equipment (e.g., DSLR cameras, lighting, microphones)
  • Edit photos and videos using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure visual content aligns with overall strategy and brand guidelines
  • Optimize visual content for each social media platform and monitor performance using analytics tools
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest photography and videography trends, techniques, and best practices
  • Own, manage and maintain photography and videography equipment (some equipment will be provided and/or rented)
  • Provide creative input and technical expertise to enhance the overall quality of our visual content
  • Continuously improve visual content quality and effectiveness based on data-driven insights

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in photography, videography, film, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in photography and videography, preferably in a social media or marketing context
  • Strong portfolio showcasing photography and videography work
  • Knowledge of DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and audio gear
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
  • Understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Experience with studio and on-location shoots
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for visual content
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel for shoots, if required

 

Qualifications:

  • Social Media Marketing and Management skills, including experience with various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Community Management skills, including responding to comments and messages, monitoring online conversations, and building relationships with followers.
  • Analytical and Reporting skills, including tracking metrics such as engagement, conversions, and reach, and using data to inform social media strategy decisions. Analytics tool: RivalIQ
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills, including the ability to write clear and compelling copy, as well as communicate with clients, teammates, and followers.
  • Organizational and Time Management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not required.

 

This position will work directly with an award-winning agency partner with 18 years of experience in marketing and advertising, primarily in the social media and digital space. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be receptive to feedback and direction with a positive attitude. They must also be proactive and willing to assist with other marketing needs, occasionally acting as a personal assistant to the agency partner.
