The Opportunity to Make an Impact
We are an ambitious, quickly growing team looking for an Organic Social Content Creator (Static & Video) who can help us compete on a global scale. You are a driven creative and social media whiz looking for the chance to make an impact for both the biggest brands in the world and the most important, mission-driven organizations fighting for real social change in the US.
Role Overview: Capable of working solo and as part of a team to develop and produce social media content, with a primary focus on designing static graphics and a secondary focus on producing short gifs / videos. You must have excellent communication skills, be capable of presenting your work to clients with confidence and clarity, and have a deep understanding of the kind of content that engages key audiences on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok. If you’re capable of seeing the strategic big picture and executing the content that brings it life, this might be the role for you.
On a daily basis, you’ll:
- Develop, design and produce social content across multiple platforms
- Present your work, and the strategy behind it, to our clients
- Work through requested revisions with clients collaboratively, in a live environment, with a problem-solving, solutions-oriented mindset
- Both create content from scratch and turn client-provided assets into social-worthy posts
- Help our clients communicate about their efforts in a social-first way that engages audiences
You bring:
- 5-7 years’ experience social media content creation across static and video deliverables
- Proven track record of presenting your work confidently and clearly to clients. You’re a social media expert but you’re comfortable – and empathetic! – when working with client partners who are not
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (IG, FB, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch) and an expertise in producing and designing content for those mediums
- Graphic design and photography skills are required. The ability to film and produce lite-weight UGC social content is a nice-to-have.
- Deep experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, and Canva and Figma
- Bonus points if you’ve produced social content in fast-paced, digital news environments like Vice or Vox
- Knowledge of Sprout Social, Airtable and and the performance reporting tools available within the social media platforms is a plus but not required
- Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
