Position Overview

The Digital and Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing Anderson Tuftex’s online presence. They oversee the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and aligned with SEO best practices. They implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. They monitor social media platforms, manage comments, messages, and community engagement, and analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Align the website with the Anderson Tuftex brand strategy and standards and the broader organizational goals and strategies.
  • Continually audit the website’s content and performance to identify errors, outdated or duplicate information, gaps or opportunities to improve content, and SEO and UX best practices.
  • Create strategies to improves website traffic and performance
  • Research, track, and analyze competitors, marketplace trends, and consumer behaviors and create strategies to turn those insights into action and strategy.
  • Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws and regulations. Keep the website’s domain and hosting registration current? Work with the Digital and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems or security issues with the website.
  • Manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns
  • Develop social media strategy and campaigns for the Anderson Tuftex brand. Work with the creative team to craft compelling and relevant social media content, including posts, images, videos, and graphics that align with the brand’s tone and voice.
  • Build and nurture a community of followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews, and engaging in relevant conversations.
  • Monitor social media metrics, track campaign performance, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Research, monitor, and stay up to date on trends in social media to gain insights into consumer preferences, sentiment, and industry trends.
  • Develop and monitor campaign budgets
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, and implement them in Anderson Tuftex’s marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or IT related field
  • 4 years’ experience in digital marketing or related field
  • Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends
  • Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
  • Strong project management and business acumen skills.
  • CRM experience required
  • Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research
  • Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
