Sports Imports is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team.

The marketing team continues to increase brand presence and the digital experience through trends, messaging, design, and innovative thinking. A successful candidate will maintain this standard and bring new ideas, influence, a collaborative mindset, performance-based creativity, and strong messaging to the team while implementing and tracking data. The Social Media Manager should have acute attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, be a self-starter,

and positive contributor to our lively company culture. The position will be full-time and based in Columbus. Sports Imports offers excellent benefits, a competitive salary, and growth potential.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

·      Manage, oversee, and report on all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

·      Utilize project manager platforms to schedule posts, track analytics, and organize assets properly.

·      Create cohesive, innovative content for each campaign and pitch to the team, including videos, visuals, messaging, audio, etc.

·      Engage with users by providing prompt responses, answering questions, tracking lead generation for the sales team, and cultivating relationships.

·      Track social media campaigns’ key performance metrics to maximize results, pitch ideas to utilize the data, and report progress to management weekly and monthly.

·      Collaborates with the Marketing and Design team on creative direction and project manages social media campaigns to keep the department on schedule.

·      Plan and direct video/photoshoots to gather the content needed for all campaign creation.

·      Pitch comprehensive ideas to boost brand image, increase customer engagement and improve conversions based on trends, data, audience, and department goals through social media.

·      Integrate social media budget into PPC digital ads and boost content on key platforms.

·      Manage current influencers posting schedules, approve content, and present new influencers.

·      Track and report on competitor accounts, campaign messaging, reach, and performance.

·      Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy, and innovation to stay relevant and effective.

·      Collaborate with Marketing Associate on keyword research and implementing performance-based SEO into

·      Oversee cross-departmental calendars, photo content, and video content, and organize intentionally as it relates to volleyball events, partners, customers, and trends in the market.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

·      Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, or a relevant field.

·      Two or more years of relevant work experience in a full-time social media marketing position.

·      Content creation experience is mandatory. Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred.

·      Proven success and strong understanding of brand representation.

·      Driven personality with big ideas and showcasing forward-thinking trends.

·      Demonstrates understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences, and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts.

·      Exceptional time management skills and interpersonal relations.

·      Provides in-depth examples of work via digital portfolio or examples.

·      In-depth knowledge of analytics software, content management systems, and SEO tools.

·      Bonus points: Has a passion for volleyball and an understanding of the sport.
