Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for driving brand engagement and lead generation by planning, creating, executing and tracking campaigns for the company’s social media accounts, blog and other channels. Candidates should be comfortable with designing, writing and editing content aligned with our brand voice and target audiences.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns for company platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, and company blog.
- Oversee and manage content calendar. Drive alignment meetings with cross-functional teams and agency partners to ensure timely support of campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage content creation & editorial process from end to end: conceptualize and create engaging, brand-worthy content including images, video and copy.
- Create & publish content from various employee, community, sales and sponsorship events.
- Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on an ongoing basis. Optimize post schedule and cadence based on performance. Champion and lead the team’s understanding of social media campaign performance, providing insights that help stakeholders to optimize current campaigns and inform future strategy.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the evolving social media landscape, tools, functionality, and new products, and keep key stakeholders informed about industry changes, new developments and social media feature updates.
- Engage with employees, sponsors & partners to cross-promote and amplify content.
- Lead and assist with other marketing-related projects, as necessary
Education:
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
Must have valid Driver’s License
Relevant Work Experience:
2 to 3 years in related field, with at least 1 year of experience managing social media content
- Ability to deliver high-quality content, paying attention to detail while also staying on top of the content calendar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management and time management skills are a must
- Understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales
- Experience copywriting, creative content development and editing
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to proofread brand and customer-facing content
- Experience with video editing through social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok)
- Experience with photography for social media platforms with use of iPhone editing apps
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics

- Enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, self-motivated, a professional demeanor, is highly organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable with speaking on-camera and appearing in social content
- Must be an action-oriented person who is willing to test completely new approaches, learn from failures and continue to improve
- Must understand the best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each, and why
- Experience with Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to provide a sample of work which showcases a variety of creative and writing experience within print and digital platforms is a plus

Salary Range – $60,000-$90,000
