Socially Powerful is a global social media marketing agency offering bespoke, end-to-end services to our clients. Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content for our list of global brands, covering a broad range of industries, from fashion to food to finance. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team as a Content Creator, helping to produce content that will help clients to take their social channels to the next level.
About the Role:
We are seeking a creative, out of the box thinker to develop and execute the social media strategy for a leading beauty brand. Reporting to the Account Lead, you will be responsible for planning, shooting and editing engaging content that embodies our client’s tone of voice and will help to continue to build their presence across all social media platforms.
You will need to be social media OBSESSED and always on the lookout for emerging trends that can translate into highly impactful content. If you are passionate about all things social with a keen eye for detail and plenty of creative flare, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Please note that this is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continual forward-thinking and proactive ideation of additional activity that Socially Powerful could propose to clients, based on a detailed knowledge of their business, objectives and upcoming focuses.
- Generating new content ideas in line with brand tone of voice, creative direction and current social trends.
- Working autonomously to film and edit engaging content that will make an impactful connection with the target audience, measured by attention metrics (likes, comments etc.).
- Writing up creative concepts and presenting these to the client for review.
- Researching current trends and trending topics across social media to inform new content ideas.
- Working closely with team members and different departments to handle urgent requests and meet deadlines.
- Coordinating with team members to develop community management responses and interactions.
- Attending creative brainstorming sessions, kick offs and team meetings and contributing ideas to the client’s social media strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience working as a content creator, particularly focussed within social media content creation. Experience within working within the beauty industry is desirable.
- Genuine passion for all things social, constantly staying up to date with the latest trends.
- Strong videography using both phone and DSLR cameras and comfortable in front of camera- you will need to feature in content.
- Editing experience using tools such as Final Cut or After Effects.
- Comfortable working autonomously to film and edit content in line with a creative brief.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player who will actively contribute to discussions and put forward ideas.
- Excellent organisation and ability to work independently to produce content to a high standard, in a fast-paced environment, while always maintaining an eye for detail.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deal with problems logically and efficiently.
