Job Summary :

Panasonic Energy is seeking a videographer to join our team, reporting to the communications department. This role is responsible for end to end video production for internal and external video production bringing our communications strategy to life. Essential Duties :

Conceptualization and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the HR team and other stakeholders to understand project goals, target audience, and key messages.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects that effectively communicate the desired message and align with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure the produced content remains relevant and engaging.

Production

  • Handle all aspects of video production, including filming, lighting, audio recording, and directing talent when necessary.
  • Operate professional-grade camera equipment, drones, and other necessary tools to capture high-quality footage.
  • Ensure proper setup and execution of shots to achieve desired visual aesthetics and storytelling objectives.
  • Manage logistics such as location scouting, scheduling, and acquiring permits as needed.

Post-Production

  • Edit raw footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create polished and engaging video content.
  • Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and sound design to enhance the overall production value of the videos.
  • Color grade footage to maintain consistency and achieve the desired mood or tone.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to review drafts, gather feedback, and make revisions as necessary until the final video meets quality standards and objectives.

Equipment Maintenance and Management

  • Ensure all video equipment is properly maintained, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements in video production equipment and recommend upgrades or new investments as needed.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and digital media, to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Provide creative input and feedback during brainstorming sessions and team meetings to contribute to the overall success of video projects.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employee’s, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PENA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications :Requirements – Required and/or Preferred

Education :

  • Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or related field

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Professional Videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects across different styles and formats.
  • Proficiency in videography techniques, including camera operation, lighting, composition, and audio recording.
  • Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced corporate environment.
